Good Beer. Good Food. Good People.
The Hopbine is a freehouse nestled away in an idyllic location. Tucked in the countryside, opposite picturesque cottages and with an open log fire throughout the winter, The Hopbine epitomises all that a country pub should be.
Our menu choices are freshly prepared on premises, using locally sourced ingredients. The kitchen serves handmade pizzas that are cooked in a wood fired oven, plus traditional pub classics and Sunday Roasts.
The Hopbine boasts a cellar, highly prized when maintaining real ales. We have a selection of cask and keg ales, lagers and ciders from local breweries including Tonbridge Brewery and Longman Brewery.
We look forward to welcoming you. We are dog friendly!
Last update: Thursday 26 March, 2020.
Following the latest government advice, we will be closing our doors for guests until further notice.
There is good news! We don't feel that we can leave such a wonderful asset as The Hopbine out of use for long periods when many others might be struggling for hot food, beer or wine. Friendships, too.
So, we have stocked our larders and now offer a delivery only from Tuesday - Saturday, 4pm - 9pm and on Sunday from 12pm - 2pm for roasts. Delivery areas include Matfield, Brenchley, Horsmonden and Paddock Wood. All orders must paid for over the phone.
We will open once again when we, as one planet, have survived this ordeal. When we do, we promise to be a place of security and warmth, where people can band together and rebuild.
Please note: We are open for delivery only.
