Meet The Team
Our family-run pub is led by a father-and-son duo, whose passion for great food and warm hospitality is at the heart of everything we do. Behind the scenes, our kitchen is powered by a close-knit team of chefs, many of whom have trained and grown under the guidance of Chef Finn, developing their skills and creativity with every dish. Out front, our friendly and welcoming staff are always ready with a smile, ensuring every guest feels at home from the moment they walk through the door. With an intimate, family-like atmosphere, our team works together to create a dining experience that’s as enjoyable as it is unforgettable.

Meet Finn: Our head Chef
Finn is the creative force behind our kitchen at The Hopbine. Trained at Gordon Ramsay’s prestigious Savoy, he honed his skills in the fast-paced world of London’s top restaurants. However, his love for Kent - where he grew up -brought him back to showcase his culinary talents in a place closer to home. At just 22, Finn joined The Hopbine, bringing passion, precision, and a fresh approach to our menu. His vision? To craft dishes that are bold, comforting, and full of flavour, making every meal here a memorable experience.
JB brings energy, charisma, and a wealth of experience to The Hopbine. After living the rock and roll lifestyle in the music industry, he sought a career that was a little quieter—yet still full of life. That’s where The Hopbine came in. Having worked here for many years, JB knows every corner of this beloved pub and plays a key role in making it the warm, welcoming place it is today. You’ll find him behind the bar, sharing a smile, a story, and ensuring every guest feels right at home. Together with Finn, he’s helping take The Hopbine to the next level.
Meet JB: Our General Manager
